For 9 days, XBOX Live customers have received one of two things. Either you connect and have a ping so massive, you can’t do a thing. Or, you can’t connect at all. What is M$ doing that has bogged / destroyed their LIVE service for 9 days? “Skynet IS the virus!”

Many users are wondering what will be done when service is restored. Will Microshit compensate all the user accounts with extra time to play? Doubtful. Will money be returned to the subscribed customers? No way in hell.

A forum thread has been started over at the Xbox.com forums regarding the downtime. Currently it is probably your best source for questions like “Wtf hppened 2 mah exbawks servce?!??!?!!11″

Although I will update when I hear more on the issue.

Now, anyone want to ditch the noob stick and rock some PC action?

  2. Hey man. What’s your Live ID? Email it to me and I’ll add you as a friend.

  3. Live ID? You mean for MSN and such? It’s in my Contact section.

PS - Were you at work when you posted those? I found them in my Akismet spam box…

If you mean for XBox, I don’t have an Xbox. I just find the matter interesting.

  4. Well I’ll be dammed. I thought I was counted as spam only on Jeff’s site.

Yeah, I’m posting from work, so this might go in the spam folder too. But why would it matter if I’m at work or home?

  5. Could be the way your work firewall talks to the servers hosted by WordPress. Could interpret the ports PHP is accessing as ‘chat’ therefore, blocked.

However, this comment was not in my Akismet spam box, or any other spam box. Went through fine.
