Here is a fun little trick I read about, and tried, for turning your cellphone into a great little phone tap.

It’s all quite simple really:

1. Take any cellphone and disable the ring tone, vibrate alert, and back light.
2. Plug in an ear bud into the headset port.
3. Set the phone to auto answer.
4. Depending on how long you want to spy, plug the phone into an outlet near your hiding spot, but make sure the cord is not visible.
5. If you want to only go for a few hours, hide the phone but leave the ear bud to the room, so you get crystal clear voice transmission.
6. Call your cell phone, and begin to spy…

It’s pretty WTF FUNNY to then quote people their conversation, and have them wonder WTF.
