We haven’t seen Google do much with YouTube since it paid billions of dollars for it, minus a few changes like a new Beta player (What’s with Google and everything being Beta for 3+ years?) and code improvements.

Now, after being in the dark for quite sometime, the genius’ come up with annotations for videos. By the way, that was ALL sarcasm. The annotations are not only annoying, but they are distracting in a video. If YouTube starts crawling with people making stupid annotations and comments about what I can already guess is going on in a clip, IE “I’m on a plane! Planes have wings!” - I’m gonna lose it.
