My name is Mark, and I was born and raised in Victoria BC, Canada. I first got into the intarwebs at the age of 13, when I was on a blazing 14.4 connection. The first true interaction I had with other users was on a Microsoft powered chat room about pets lol. There I met many people, whom then lead me to IRC. Wow, IRC. What hasn’t it done for me!? Before the whole age of torrents, the popularity of newsgroups and IRC was minimal. Truly great times were had in the world of IRC. Many people I still communicate with, even though I am no longer a user of IRC.
After that I got into gaming and tried my hand at blogging/web development. That would be my main focus for the next few years. Somewhere along that path, I became bored of the web design aspect, and focused mainly on gaming/blogging. I have had so many different types of blogging software I cannot name them all (mainly because I forget).
Currently I am 23, and I just blog, game, and work. The simple life I quite enjoy. Right now I am really into EVE Online!
This company I am with is just fantastic, and I am loving the Wordpress backbone I run this site off of.
